Jaw Crusher

A jaw crusher, also known as jaw breakers or "tiger mouth" crushers, is a primary crushing equipment widely used in mining, metallurgy, construction, chemical industry, and other fields. Its core working principle relies on the periodic reciprocating movement between the fixed jaw plate and the movable jaw plate: when the movable jaw plate approaches the fixed jaw plate, materials are crushed by extrusion, splitting, and grinding; when they separate, the crushed materials fall and discharge from the outlet due to their own weight. This simple yet efficient design ensures stable operation and consistent crushing results for various materials with compressive strength below 320 MPa.

Working principle:
Motor drives belt and belt pulley, makes moving jaw up and down through eccentric shaft. When the moving jaw is up, the angle between lining plate and moving jaw becomes large, and this will push moving jaw plate close to the fixed jaw plate. During this process, the material is crushed and ground, thus the crushing will be done. When the moving jaw is down, the angle between lining plate and moving jaw becomes small, the moving jaw plate will leave the fixed jaw plate because of the effect of pulling bar and spring, and then the crushed material will be discharged from the lower opening of the crushing room.

A complete stone crushing production line not only needs to have jaw crushers, but also needs to be equipped with impact crushers (cone crushers), circular vibrating screens, feeders, conveyors, etc., which equipment should be configured and which should be selected. The model is determined according to the customer's material characteristics, particle size, production capacity, finished product particle size, etc.
Key Advantages of Our Jaw Crushers
- High Efficiency & Large Capacity: Equipped with a deep, dead-zone-free crushing chamber, our jaw crushers can handle large feed sizes up to 1800mm and achieve a processing capacity of 1-1200 t/h, ensuring no material accumulation or blockage and maximizing production efficiency. Modern models can even crush up to 800 tons of materials per hour, meeting the needs of large-scale projects.
- Durable & Long-Lasting: All key components are made of high-quality materials—jaw plates are crafted from high manganese steel, and eccentric shafts from 40Cr steel—greatly enhancing wear resistance and pressure resistance. The optimized bearing design with better sealing and load-bearing capacity extends the service life of the equipment, reducing maintenance frequency and costs.
- Versatile & Flexible: Our jaw crushers are available in multiple types, including PE/PEX series, PEW series, and mobile jaw crushers, suitable for coarse crushing, medium crushing, and fine crushing of various materials such as granite, basalt, limestone, quartz, coal gangue, and construction waste. The adjustable discharge port allows for precise control of product particle size, meeting different processing requirements.
- Easy Operation & Maintenance: The simple structure and accessible components reduce downtime for maintenance, while the unique flywheel design minimizes vibration, ensuring stable and safe operation.
